Just keep HDR off, its not at all supported on your screen. LG CX can do BFI with HDR on (G-Sync off), but as I said its really not advised due to the loss in peak brightness.ĮDIT 2: Your screen doesn't seem to support wide color gamut anyway (wtf) and only 357 nits peak brightness: Automatically record the last 20 minutes with Instant Replay, (formerly known as Shadowmode) and toggle manual recording with Record. But to me 120 hz are very smooth anyway.ĮDIT: Just tested it. Instant Replay and Record With this overlay you can easily tap into GeForce Experience’s ability to record gameplay at 60FPS at up to 4K, for both full screen and windowed modes. I tested BFI a bit on my LG CX but honestly it didn't make enough of a difference to me at 120hz to even having to deal with it for SDR content (G-Sync on my screen only works via a workaround if at all with BFI on) and I would never ever trade it for HDR. BFI will reduce brightness by its very nature which in return will also reduce peak brightness making HDR less HDR. Probably very few because those two features don't make sense together. How many monitors support Black Frame Insertion and HDR at the same time? My ASUS VG27AQ only seems to allow one or the other, and for me I like BFI's clearer motion than I do HDR's color benefits.
